Ashgrove Reserve Orchard

Over the past 2 years ME Family Services, Uru Whakaaro & Kāinga Ora have worked with schools and community to plant an orchard at Ashgrove reserve in Ngaa Hau o Maangere. Local families, church groups and schools came together to plan, prepare, and plant 23+ fruit trees alongside native raakau. In years to come these raakau will provide an abundance of fruit for all to enjoy.
