Project Title: Translocating lichens

Lichen translocation as part of a restoration project for Ngāti Whātua. A study was conducted to identify appropriate methods for lichen translocation. Lichens were selected and then relocated to establish new populations successfully into the Whenua Rangatira ecological restoration site in Ōrākei, Auckland.
The team included Dr Dan Blanchon, Nadine Leddy, Richelle Kahui-McConnell, Tamia Watts and Charmaine Bailie.
