Oneoneroa Repo restoration

Oneoneroa Repo is situated in Te Hau Kapua, within Philomel Reserve, Te Raki Pae Whenua. It is part of the Oneoneroa and Ngātaringa rohe (area) of Ngāti Paoa and Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei.

This is an area of significant terrestrial biodiversity supporting coastal pōhutukawa-pūriri-broadleaf forest and intertidal habitats including mangrove forest, salt marsh and shell banks.

Uru Whakaaro have worked alongside Restoring Takarunga Hauraki to develop a restoration plan for the repo, and surrounding area.
